I like to make coffee in advance and store in the fridge so it is cold and ready when I am thirsty. This way, the drink won't be diluted by rapidly melting ice cubes. For easy mixing, make sure to stir the Nutella into the coffee while it is hot. Of course, you may enjoy this as a hot drink, too!
If you have an espresso maker, you can make your own version using espresso.
1/2cupmilk (non-fat, 2%, or soy according to preference)
1tablespoonNutella
Ice cubes
Whipped cream, optional
Instructions
Add the Nutella to the hot coffee and stir to dissolve. Refrigerate until cold. (As an option, you can make ice cubes out of leftover coffee to chill and serve immediately without diluting the coffee.)
Pour the coffee mixture and the milk into a tall glass of ice and stir. Top with a squirt of whipped cream, if desired.
Notes
One tablespoon of Nutella will make a latte that is not overly sweet. If you prefer a sweeter drink, you may add more or sweeten to taste.
